Fred Perry X Stussy Deluxe – “Blank Canvas” Collection | Release Information

When the news of Stussy Deluxe’s collaboration with Fred Perry on a fresh “Blank Canvas” collection came out, sartorially minded men from different walks of style have rejoiced equally. In an industry where collaborations run rampant and a majority of them don’t live up to the desirable effects of collaboration, the matrimony of heritage tennis label and American street wear forerunner have successfully refined the modern man by fusing American cultural references with London style. The limited edition capsule collection features only six pieces but are well made and thoughtfully designed enough to suffice one’s spring wardrobe. Classic menswear elements are worked in with the bold noises of street wear without even bordering on ostentatious. Plaid tennis bombers are cut slim and highlighted with a large cursive Stussy lettering on the back. Black and white tees are kept clean and co-branded on the chest with larger logos on the back (Fred Perry’s laurel and Stussy’s iconic logo with local listing are both present). Fred Perry’s signature polo shirts are reworked in fresh blue plaid for Spring and fitted plaid button downs come in a happy blue and a more somber black version for dressier occasions. The collection is due to drop very soon in February at select retailers such as oki-ni. images via: HB
