It was stars studded extravaganza as the new Dallas Cowboy Stadium hosted the 2010 NBA All-Star Game over Valentine’s Day. Now, as the initial storm has calmed down a bit, comes the release of the special editions worn by top NBA players that evening, including the special Air Jordan CP3.III by Chris Paul. Though seated on the sideline because of a recent arthroscopic surgery, this didn’t hamper the designers at Jordan Brand to create Paul’s signature All-Star edition. First leaked on the player’s Twitterand previewed in Sole Collector, the special model featured toecap in gradient red-orange patent leather, the symbolic colorway of the Western Conference. Accompanied by supple premium leather in white, the designers swapped out the fleur-de-lys patterns found on the general release edition with dazzled stars. Highlighted each are embroider “gleam” in gold threads. The Air Jordan CP3.III for Chris Paul – All-Star 2010 Edition is now available at selected Jordan Brand retailers, including all House of Hoops locations nationwide.
