Native – Fall/Winter 2010 – Fitzsimmons

Native Fall/Winter 2010 Fitzsimmons

Sure, Crocs have made a strong selling point by bringing out little EVA mascots that promise to massage your feet, but, stylistically, many can concur that Crocs are guilty pleasures that many would stash in the back of their closets. However, Native has joined in the rubber shoe game and proved that rubbery comfort doesn’t translate to questionable design. After turning some classic silhouettes such as low-top plimsoll and what looks like a low-top Converse Chuck Taylor into light, airy kicks that fits right in on the sandy beaches and in the city, Native takes the classic fall staple, the hiking boot, and transforms it into a lightweight Native Fitzsimmons. Finally, the label has introduced laces into its footwear, and this pair, despite its candy colors and lightweight material, still enjoys the signature rugged look of the hiking boot.
