In some of the previous Air Force 1 ‘s we’ve seen come out of the Bespoke program at Nike’s 21 Mercer, the designers have gotten a little out of hand with the colors and materials available to them. Given that, it’s nice to see a skillfully executed pair such as these by Aron Dayar that show some restraint while still creating a truly unique Air Force 1. The upper is dipped in a mixture of wool and embossed leather, utilizing some of the over looked options from the Bespoke studio. The leather tongue on these loses the typical tab, replaced by a lone star, a nod to the Houston Astros that Dayar based this colorway on. The color combo here strikes a nice balance, with the white of the heel badge and swoosh breaking up the tonal blacks up top, and the orange hints throughout giving them some pop. Follow us after the jump to get a better look at this Houston Astro’s inspired pair of Bespoke Air Force 1′s.
