Ahead of the July 20th release of The Dark Knight Rises, the Chrysler 300 gets a makeover fit for a caped crusader as part of an advertising campaign that sees Chrysler partnering with Warner Bros. Entitled “Imported from Gotham City,” the Stacy Wall-directed television commercial was designed and shot to look like a set piece from Gotham, featuring a team of elite mechanics transforming a Chrysler 300 into a special “Dark Knight Rises” edition. A quick pan showing off the aggressive matte black exterior — along with a shot of the “DK-300S” Gotham City license plate — ends with the vehicle roaring off into the night. The extended 60-second spot can be viewed below. (It has its network TV premier tonight on NBC.)
