The International Stussy Tribe gathered talented creative individuals from around the world, with each member promoting the ethos of the Stussy brand in their respective countries. Stussy welcomed Hiroshi Fujiwara, who was an enigmatic young man from Tokyo at the time, into its inner circle of global friends. Fujiwara now leads the very successful fragment design and is recognized as a key person in global fashion trends. Stussy and fragment design got together on a series of Varsity Jackets. The classic varsity jacket silhouette is modernized by implementing striped wool material on its body and quilted lining on the inside. Cowhide sleeves complete the outerwear, and these are set to launch starting Thursday, January 3, 2013.
