2014 ROLLS-ROYCE WRAITH – OFFICIALLY UNVEILED

Hailed as “The Most Powerful Rolls-Royce In History”, the 2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith debuted at Geneva Motor Show in the midst of gathered press, camera flashes, and artificial fog. Called by Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, as “…the ultimate gentlemen’s gran turismo…”, the two-door sports coupe features a bold fastback silhouette with the expressive and familiar Rolls-Royce front-end, then quickly tapered off to a sweeping form at the rear. The opening of its rear-hinged doors (aka “suicide doors”) reveals luxurious accommodations equivalent to a luxury yacht with exquisite Canadel Panelling and the impressive Starlight Headliner, a roof liner featuring 1,340 fiber optic lamps all hand-woven in.

To feature a V12 engine and 8-speed automatic ZF transmission, capable of generating 624 horsepower, or equivalent of 4.4 seconds from 0 to 60 mph, the Rolls-Royce Wraith will start from €245,000 EUR or around $320,000 USD. Set to arrive at a Rolls-Royce dealership near you around the end of this year.
