New York-based graphic designer Mike Doyle believes in extraterrestrials. The artist created a series of impressive LEGO sculptures as an ode to peaceful lifeforms throughout the galaxy. The result is the “Contact Series,” a complex set of models that celebrate “the beauty of all intelligent life forms as extensions of our family” using simple building blocks. The first release, entitled The Millennial Celebration of the Eternal Choir at K’al Yne, Odan, is a model of a great choir hall, comprised of over 200,000 pieces and measuring more than 5′ tall and 6′ wide. Doyle will create more large-scale reproductions of extraterrestrial encounters, environments and celebrations for the Contact Series, and has initiated aKickStarter campaign to fund future builds.
