The sunshine or, in this case, the spotlight has been generous to Marc Jacobs in 2013. After taking the reigns as creative director at Diet Coke, the American fashion designer now takes on a different role as an adult film kingpin in Henry Alex Rubin’s Disconnect. The film, which also stars seasoned actors Jason Bateman, Alexander Skarsgard, and Hope Davis, finds Jacobs making his feature-length silver screen debut. After a showing at the Toronto International Film Festival, the multi-layered drama is set to release in the United States at select theaters tomorrow, April 12.
