Based out Southern California, Rucksters Customs specializes in the Honda Ruckus scooter, providing parts and service as well as custom fabrications, swap kits and frame mods. One of their creations, the 2006 Honda Ruckus “LV Project,” is tailor made to help the rider stand out in a crowd. The team at Rucksters started by swapping out the 49cc motor for a much more powerful 150cc GY6, then added customized rPRO and BTX hard parts from front to back. A giant 10×7 six-spoke golf cart wheel wrapped in a 225 tire was fitted to the rear end to provide extra attitude, while the exterior was finished with a fresh coat of Du Pont champagne paint. Brown anodized supporting components provided the finishing touch, the colors matching the custom saddle and making the scooter worthy of the “The LV Project” name. Check out detailed looks below.
