Long at the pinnacle of their respective fields, British racing expert McLaren and California-based bicycle manufacturer Specialized have come together to create the Specialized McLaren Venge: the world’s fastest road bike. Putting their heads together to draw on their extensive knowledge of both materials technology and manufacturing methods, the two conducted countless aerodynamics tests in order to translate the carbon fiber of an F1 automobile to that of a UCI-legal bike. The result is a product of both real-life and virtual testing that is more lightweight, stiff, and aerodynamic than any Specialized bike to ever hit the pavement.
