As part of the prestigious #Heineken100 seeding program that celebrates the brand’s “Man of the World” campaign, prolific designer Mark McNairy teams up with Union’s Chris Gibbs to produce two colorways of McNairy’s classic chukka saddle boot. Having assumed the mantle of Creative Director for the 2013 #Heineken100 program — now in its fourth year — Gibbs led the charge for the design of both pairs, one featuring a pebbled black leather build across the entire upper, the other carrying a white suede upper with black pebbled leather quarter panels and red heel stripe. Common details on both include a Heineken green EVA sole, white laces, black welt and white eyelets. Custom packaging in the form of a clear acrylic lid box and customized sizing label makes up the finishing touch.
