BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GT V8 S

Originally launched in January 2012 at NAIAS in Detroit, the Bentley Continental GT V8 is set to release in a more powerful “S” version, packing a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 under the hood that produces an extra 21 horses and 15 lb-ft of torque. The resulting total power output is rated to 521 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque, but the power boost doesn’t impinge on the gas mileage — the new V8 S covers the same 500 miles on a full tank of gas as the existing Continental GT V8. Additional tweaks include a suspension lowered by 10 millimeters, spring rates stiffened by 45 percent up front and 33 percent in the back, updated dampers, tweaked stability control system and a stiffer rear sway bar for a more active handling experience. Riding on 20-inch alloy wheels, the Continental GT V8 S and GTC V8 S are scheduled to debut at next week’s , with delivery scheduled for early 2014.
