Hudson Common becomes “Hudson Stadium” in the fall. Tailgating in the outdoor adjoining space begins Saturdays and Sundays at 12pm and will feature fun
games in addition to both common and uncommon tailgating foods, like wings in Buffalo, Carolina BBQ and Habanero or more outrageous flavors like Chicken & Waffle, Chicken Parm and Kung Pao. There will be three large projection screens and nine flat screen televisions to view all NFL and college football games between Hudson Stadium and Hudson Common. For prime game viewing with awesome food in Brooklyn, park yourself at Pork Slope. This neighborhood bar has two 42” and one 60” televisions to catch all the action. While Chef Dale Talde may be a Chicago bears fan, co-owners David Massoni and John Bush both root for New York football teams. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a $5 beer and shot special, a cheeseburger or a Mother Porker with cheddarwurst, griddled onions, fried egg, bacon, pickled jalapenos and mustard.
Known as a post-grad hangout for former frat brothers and college sports fans, it’s no suprise Brother Jimmy’s BBQ is trying their hardest to make their venue the ultimate football destination. All five of their city locations will have the NFL Network will playing on 40+ HDTVs.
