Following the Jean-Pierre Wimille-inspired Grand Sport Vitesse unveiled in August at Pebble Beach,Bugatti has taken the wraps off the second special-edition model from the six-part “Bugatti Legends” series. This one pays tribute to Jean Bugatti, the son of the company founder and creator of the Type 57SC Atlantic, and features a design inspired by Jean’s personal Type 57SC, nicknamed La Voiture Noire (or the Black Car). The Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse “Jean Bugatti” is finished entirely in black carbon fiber, complemented by a grille and EB badging made of pure platinum, as well as black diamond-cut rims. Inside the leather appointed cabin, the premium touches include a rosewood shifter and the silhouette of the Type 57SC stitched onto the door inserts. The Jean Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse, set to debut at this month’s Frankfurt Motor Show, is limited to just three vehicles, each retailing for 2.28 million euros (a little over $3 million).
