BMW has taken to Frankfurt Motor Show to take the wraps off its C Evolution electric scooter, powered by a liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor rated at 15 horsepower and a peak output of 47 horsepower, enabling a top speed of 75 miles per hour. The 8 kWh capacity of the air-cooled lithium-ion battery delivers a range of up to 100 kilometers (62 miles), with a full recharge taking four hours. A large TFT color display measures pertinent data like average speed and battery charge status, while available Torque Control Assist adjusts the motor’s torque based on the rear wheel’s slip. Finally, driver comfort and safety is enhanced with LED daytime running lights and a choice of four ride modes: Road, Eco Pro, Sail and Dynamic. Check out detailed looks below.
