To help Derrick Rose celebrate his 25th birthday, adidas Originals is releasing a limited edition take D Rose Superstar 80′s, set to drop this October 4, 2013. The celebratory set is inspired by Derrick’s style and personality, set-up with a simple, yet sleek combination of materials – leather and suede – in a versatile colorway: black and blue (which also happen to be his favorite colors). Gold and embroidery helps to set-off additional personalized touches, including his birth year, 1988, on the heel tab, and for the tongue logo that incorporates an outline of the Bull’s own birthday boy. Set to release on October 4, the D Rose Superstar 80′s will be available at select adidas Originals retailers and their online shop for $100.
