Lo heads, rejoice: starting tomorrow, the Polo Bear sweater can be yours once again. As Ralph Laurenaficionados already know, the brand’s unofficial mascot came about when a Steiff teddy bear — decked out in miniature Polo gear — was given to Ralph as a birthday present during the company’s early years, followed by the first appearance of the bear on the brand’s crewneck sweaters in 1991. Last year, fans were given the opportunity to vote for their favorite iteration of the Polo Bear, and the winning entries are finally set to release tomorrow through the RL Vintage webshop. Retailing for $295, the Polo Bear sweater will come in both men’s and women’s styles.
