After teasing his Instagram followers for two weeks with imagery to his upcoming collaboration withTimberland, designer Ronnie Fieg officially debuts his capsule collection of 6″ 40 Below Boots. Adapting a contemporary aesthetic, the two collaborators chose to knock the cult classic 40 Below silhouette down by four inches to match Timberland’s winter hallmark, the 6-inch Boot. Available in three colors – butter pecan, cinnamon and plum – each model features a nubuck exterior, brass D-ring and hook eyelets, stacked collar, and a “RF” embossing logo on the lateral side below its collar and tongue. While the wheat-colored boots will be lined to its toe with sheepskin, each of the other two models will include the typical 200g PrimaLoft lining associated with Timberland’s Super Boot. The three-part collection will launch exclusively at the new Kith pop-up shop at 66 Bleecker Street as well as at Kith Brooklyn and KithNYC.com on December 14. Limited to just 250 pairs each, learn more about this joint effort and Ronnie’s inspirations here.
