The URWERK atelier takes the wraps off its new UR-210Y “Black Hawk,” featuring a black scratch-resistant titanium and steel case with a matching black fabric strap — a first for any URWERK timepiece. Two of the the most unique functional design elements take the form of the bold retrograde minute indicators at the base of the dial, as well as a tri-part minute hand mechanism that also doubles as the hour indicator. Additionally, each section of the minute-hand mechanism features a four-sided aluminum satellite featuring 1 of the 12 hour values on each side. The dial of the UR-210Y features a traditional power reserve indication at one o’clock, and at 11 o’clock there’s a world-first complication that indicates winding efficiency over the last two hours. The URWERK UR-210Y Black Hawk is limited to just 75 pieces.
