A tribute to director Spike Lee’s long association with Jordan Brand and his groundbreaking 40 Acres and a Mule production company, the Jordan Spizike (officially known as Jordan Spiz’ike) embodies elements from the Air Jordan 3, 4, 5, 6, and 10 in its design. The 2006 hybrid silhouette also features subtle elements from Lee’s movie, Do The Right Thing, as well. Now, eight years later, Nike and Jordan Brand will be bringing back this popular edition, which some consider to be the first successful hybrid, in its original colorway of White, Cement Grey, Classic Green and Varsity Red. Limited to just 29,032 pairs around the globe (versus the 4,032 pairs released in 2006), the Jordan Spizike OG will be available starting at 8 am EDT this Saturday, August 9th, on NikeStore.com. The highly sought after kicks will also be release through select Jordan Brand dealers.
