Marking the 50th anniversary of the model, Porsche chose the North American International Auto Show to unveil their new four-wheel-drive 911 Targa GTS. Known for its crazy roof and its crazy-powerful engine, the 911 Targa GTS receives even more power than the standard 911 Targa 4S–29 horses, to be exact. In addition to the 430 hp, the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter, six-cylinder engine puts out 324 lb-ft of torque and can hit 62mph in 4.3 seconds before topping out at 188 mph. The open roof sports car is controlled either through a standard seven-speed manual or a dual-clutch automatic, which sends power to the widened rear wheels that feature 305/30 tires. Inside, GTS badges appear on the headrests while Alcantara trim adds a premium touch. This whip is set to arrive at dealers this March at around $158,000. Continue after the jump to help welcome the newest member of the Porsche 911 family.
