Marvel won’t stop – the ever expanding Marvel Universe is set to bring its first major superhero franchise to digital TV with Netflix’s newest original series, Daredevil. Releasing April 10 with all 13 episodes ready to be binge-watched in typical Netflix fashion, the new series looks to be a darker, grittier take on The Man Without Fear. In the first trailer, we see glimpses of a conflicted Matt Murdock – a merciless, unrelenting, Daredevil who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. It’s an exciting interpretation that fits well with Daredevil’s identity as a street-level hero, and hints at a franchise that’s more visceral than anything we’ve seen from Marvel yet. Starring Boardwalk Empire vet Charlie Cox as Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as infamous crime boss Kingpin, the new Daredevil series already has us clearing our calendars for April 10.
