“White Side Of The Moon” – OMEGA Speedmaster

In 2013 Omega presented its first ceramic version of the iconic Speedmaster watch, entitled “Dark Side Of The Moon.” The watch released at the perfect time, with both ceramic as a material and the color black for luxury watches quickly rising in popularity.

We would have never expected for the watch to remain popular for such a long time, but still today we hear a lot of excited comments about the model. In 2014 Omega followed up with a more toned down “Grey Side Of The Moon” Speedmaster. Today we get a first look at the all new “White Side Of The Moon” watch. White ceramic has been used by Chanel for numerous years already, but has otherwise not really made a big impact in the watch industry. With a general monochromatic trend going on in fashion, we believe the timing could not be better. The new Omega Speedmaster Co-Axial Chronograph comes with the Omega in-house 9300 movement, 18k white gold hands and a white crocodile leather strap. The watch is priced at $10800, just like the two previous colors.
