Watch a Time-Lapse of JR Creating a Large-Scale Pasting in Manhattan

French artist JR was commissioned by The New York Times Magazine to create a large-scale pasting in the triangle located just below New York City’s Flatiron Building. The artwork is to be featured in the publication’s “Walking New York” issue, so appropriately, JR portrayed a man doing just that in the designated location.

Andrew Warman, also for The New York Times, then formulated this entertaining time-lapse visual, showcasing the pasting process done by the French artist and his team. The footage was captured at the top of the aforementioned Flatiron Building over a period of 24 hours.
