LEGO Architecture Celebrates NYC’s Flatiron Building

LEGO has unveiled its latest miniature creation masterpiece, this time being a set emulating the iconic Flatiron Building in New York City. One of the earliest skyscrapers adorning the NYC skyline, the triangular wedge-like building sits between Broadway, Fifth Avenue and East 22nd Street, and was completed in 1902. The Flatiron Building has been officially recognized as a National Historic Landmark, and now you can have your own model at home. The realistic model captures the limestone facade and Beaux-Arts aesthetic, measuring in at 6 inches high and 4 inches deep. Along with a detailed building instruction booklet and six pages of history on the building and its architect Daniel Burnham, you can pick up this set at your nearest toy store soon.
