Michael Fassbender is the latest to take the helm in portraying the iconic founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, in this latest biopic by director Danny Boyle. Whereas the 2013 film Jobs starring Ashton Kutcher as the tech innovator portrayed his life from college to the introduction of the iPod in 2001, Steve Jobs instead paints a portrait of the stage presence of the man from backstage at three iconic product launches, ending with the unveiling of the iMac in 1998. Based off Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography of the Apple founder and written by Aaron Sorkin, the film also stars Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman, former marketing chief of Macintosh; Seth Rogen as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak; and Jeff Daniels as former Apple CEO John Sculley. Anticipate this film to hit cinemas on October 9.
