New York retail institution KITH continues to evolve its in-house apparel offerings with the second delivery from its summer 2015 collection. Ronnie Fieg and his design team are notoriously obsessive about materials, and for this new collection sourced rare loose gauge terry as the basis for the range. This particular strain of terry is perfectly weighted for summer while still maintaining a sense of luxury – an understanding that runs strong through the KITH design vein. Both new and familiar silhouettes are here re-worked for the season, with pieces such as the Granite shawl neck, the Frayed Hopkins Tee, and the Frayed Hazel tank marking an attention to the catwalks – although they look perfectly street-ready – while the Bleecker short has also been re-articulated.
