In a surprising move, luxury car company Rolls-Royce is introducing a car honoring the anniversary of a country. Announced this week, Rolls Royce will be celebrating Singapore’s 50th anniversary with a limited edition Ghost Series II, aptly dubbed the “SG50.” The special car boasts an all-white exterior matched with a red coachline paying homage to the Singaporean flag. Its interior features a dark red leather adorned with Singapore’s iconic Merlion stitched upon the headrests. Additionally, the vehicle’s tread plates are adorned with a sketch of the city’s skyline and the words, “Hand Built in Goodwood, England for Singapore’s 50th Anniversary.”
According to Rolls-Royce’s Asia Pacific regional director Paul Harris, “This SG50 Ghost Series II, a unique celebratory Rolls-Royce, will sit as a timeless masterpiece in a client’s care to reflect on this significant milestone.” No price has been announced, but there are already a few interested customers in sunny Singapore.
