Ahead of next month’s premiere, Netflix presents its latest trailer for Beasts of No Nation. Written and directed by the Emmy Award-winning Cary Fukunaga (who directed the entire first season of HBO’s True Detective), Beasts stars Idris Elba and shines a terrifying light on the use of child soldiers as civil war tears a family apart in West Africa, forcing a young boy to join a unit of mercenary fighters. Based on Uzodinma Iweala’s 2005 novel of the same name, Beasts of No Nation is set to hit Netflix and select theaters October 16.
