2016 TOYOTA PRIUS

We got our first official look at the new 2016 Toyota Prius, boasting 10% more EPA-estimated miles per gallon over the previous model, as well as an aggressively angular design that seems to take inspiration from the brand’s hydrogen fuel-cell Mirai. Held Tuesday night in Sin City, the Prius’ coming out party had all the fanfare of a typical Vegas show. Its debut took place on the rooftop deck of the Linq Hotel & Casino, situated in the middle of the Strip. The opulent setting, complete with music from the DJ simply known as MICK, was meant to downplay the practicality for which the Prius is famous, and instead present the hybrid car as sleek, contemporary and edgy. Check out the photo recap in the following pages, and expect the new Prius to hit dealerships early next year.
