In following up on the “Real Ale” pack, New Balance has now delivered two more alcohol-inspired kicks with the release of the “Beer” capsule. The drop features the brand’s 996 and 997 models, with the former being dubbed the “Pabst” and the latter, “Budweiser.” The 996s feature a PBR-specific color combination, being comprised of suede, leather and canvas materials. Denim-style laces accompany the pair, closely mirroring the tongue and toe box accents. The 997 offering showcases a bright red and blue colorway, noting predominantly suede and mesh construction. Leather N branding has been stitched alongside, while additional tagging can be seen on the tongue, heel and sole.
