NBA Live Continues to Fail

NBA Live Continues to Fail

If you know anything about sporting video games, then you know that NBA Live has been one of the worst, if not the worst, video games produced by EA.  Eighteen years of NBA Live, and the gaming series has yet to provide nail-biting competition to the NBA 2K series.

Though EA Sports claims that the newest version is bringing in new technology, many of the features we’ve already seen in NBA 2K14 and 2K15.  To make matters worse, the newest character avatars look nothing like their real-life counterparts.  It would be one thing if the avatars were a little off, but no, these characters have different, hair, looks, and features in general.

Some of the players had some things to say about their messed up avatars:

Kristaps Porzingis

Willie Cauley-Stein

Luke Babbitt

Justise Winslow

Trey Lyles

D’Angelo Russell

Tyus Jones

K.J. McDaniels

Rudy Gobert wanted to know who was responsible for his portrayal in the game:

The demo for NBA Live 16 just came out on September 15th, and the most recent controversy is a glitch causing Kevin Love to attempt shooting a free throw at the wrong basket.   Another clip caught J.R. Smith shooting a ridiculous 3 pointer:
