Fans of Stone Island will love the label’s brand new app venture. Users of the Stone Island app can receive push notifications for news on upcoming drops and enjoy exclusive releases for purchasing through the app. The interactive display centers around four sectors: a “Story” mode that describes Stone Island’s history and brand philosophy, an “Archive” section that tells a retrospective story of the brand’s important milestones of research and experimentation, a “Hub” epicenter that contains brand information and content that includes seasonal product drops, and finally the “Store” section for a digital retail experience that will release app-exclusive limited edition products. “Stone Island is defined by experimentation. We created this app aiming for a clear guide to our past and present research and to enhance the Stone Island brand and shopping experience in North America,” said Stone Island President and Creative Director Carlo Rivetti. This season the Italian premium menswear label is also partnering with NikeLab for a special apparel and footwear collection that celebrates innovative garment design and high-caliber fabric technology. The “Windrunner” Jacket will come in six different colors while the Nike Koth Ultra Mid sneaker will be offered in black and military green colorways. The Stone Island App will be available in the U.S. and Canada only on iOS and Android with the NikeLab collaboration dropping exclusively on the app December 17 at 1 p.m. EST.
