Released only in 2012, the Roshe One (formerly the Roshe Run) is by far one of Nike’s most successful contemporary silhouettes, garnering dozens of colorways and discipline-specific iterations in the following years. With the Roshe Two on the horizon, Nike has decided to honor the sneaker with a “Retro” iteration. This does not mean that the shoe is being declared a retro model, rather, the Roshe One “Retro” takes cues from Nike’s runners of old, including its nylon construction — echoing that of the Cortez and Waffle Trainer — an old-school orange tongue tab, and retro Nike lettering on the heel panel. Available at various Nike Sportswear retailers, for $110 USD.
