MCLAREN 570GT

McLaren‘s new 570GT is billed as the British automaker’s most luxurious and refined car to date. It’s also described as its most “road-biased” model, meaning its practical enough for everyday use. Under the hood is a 3.8L V8 twin-turbo, generating 562 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. Compared to the standard 570S coupe that debuted last year, the 570GT holds an additional 7.8 cubic feet of cargo space, easily accessible thanks to a unique side-hinged glass hatch. Additional notable features include a panoramic sunroof, soft-close doors and specially developed Pirelli P Zero tires that reduce in-cabin road noise by up to three decibels. Inside the cabin, there’s an electronic steering column, leather covered parcel shelf with luggage restraint hooks, and the the standard eight-speaker McLaren Audio Plus system (a 1,280-watt, 12-speaker Bower & Wilkins stereo system is optional). Retailing for £154,000, the 570GT will launch later this year, joining the 570S Coupé and 540C Coupé as the third model in the recently announced Sports Series family.
