Japanese clothing masters BAPE has got together with model car creators Tarmac Works and BBR Models to release a limited-edition model replica of the Ferrari 458 GT3 that competed in the Macau GT Cup.
The original car, which was decked out in a classic BAPE-style camouflage, was driven by Brazil’s Lucas Di Grassi in the 2012 edition of the competition and finished in 17th place. The model replica took over two years to fine-tune and was created using only high-quality handcrafted resin. Both cars are made in limited quantities: 110 of the 1/18 scale version, 200 of the 1/43 scale version.
The BAPE x Tarmac Works x BBR Models Ferrari 458 GT3 will drop on May 7. Check out the collaboration’s website for more information.
