Put Vandal’s Heaven Spot Mini Burger ($9) on your radar this month because each bite of this small, yet flavorful burger will make you feel warm and fuzzy – mainly because the beef patty is filled with house-made American cheese. Yep, it’s actually INSIDE the burger. Add on some pickles, romaine, and fancy sauce, and you’ve got yourself one tasty snack.

Although American Cut prides themselves on making a delicious piece of steak, they also deserve bragging rights for their “American Cut” burger. This decadent burger is made with a blend of brisket, short rib, and rib eye, and then it’s piled high with beer cheese and caramelized Bourbon onions. The use of a traditional sesame seed bun may seem simple but this burger is anything but average.

You’ve got to try the Pavilion Natural Beef Burger ($15.95) over at The Pavilion. This open air restaurant, located just steps away from Union Square, recently opened up its doors for the busy warmer season. Definitely take advantage of the al fresco dining while biting into this decadent burger, made with crispy onions, melted gruyere cheese, and topped with a creamy saffron aioli. Pair it with either herb french fries or a mesclun salad and you’ve got yourself one tasty meal.
