VOLVO UNVEILS AN ELECTRIC HATCHBACK CONCEPT

Volvo has just unveiled a new coupe-like hatchback powered by a hybrid powertrain, showing off the carmaker’s new Compact Modular Architecture. Dubbed the 40.2, the concept can travel up to 217 miles on a battery electric powertrain that powers the front wheels, officially ushering in Volvo’s first EV. The 40.2 is set to hit dealers in 2019, proving Volvo is clearly focused on the important Chinese and American cross-over markets while also investing in a highly adaptable design system.
