Missing from almost all of last year’s NBA Finals, Kyrie Irving made his presence known last night during Game 1 of the Golden State-Cleveland rematch. Unfortunately, as most experts predicted, his offensive contributions were outweighed by his deficiency on the defensive end. While he’ll have to make adjustments to his game, the one thing working for the point guard last night was his PE kicks, a terrific dark navy and gold colorway of his Nike Kyrie 2. Flecks of metallic gold throughout the clean white sole unit are a nice finishing touch on the pair.
