New Balance is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the M999, a running silhouette first introduced in 1996 as the latest update in the brand’s 900 series, highlighted by an improved ABZORB sole unit for greater cushioning and flexibility. In honor of the milestone, New Balance debuts two new interpretations of the model, the 999 Deconstructed and 999 Reengineered. The latter arrives in two colorways, featuring a welded upper built with a layered mesh and suede on the heel tab and foxing, all mounted on a REVLITE sole unit. The M999 Deconstructed is similarly offered in two colorways, carrying a four-piece upper with debossing and perforated paneling, with a REVLITE sole unit completing the look. Look for the kicks to launch at newbalance.com beginning July 1st.
