We’ve already seen the fragment design collaboration that kicks off the new Converse Essentials collection, and now we get a comprehensive preview of the various wardrobe mainstays, courtesy of this newly unveiled lookbook. Like the brand’s Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers, the Converse Essentials collection is made to improve with age and wear, comprising silhouettes that include a tee, crewneck, pull-over hoodie, full-zip hoodie, pant and backpack. Offered for both men and women, the collection is highlighted by details like muted nickel zippers that offset the monochrome color palettes, as well as flat construction to eliminate bulk, and ribbed binding at the pockets and collars of the pullover and zip hoodies.

The Converse Essentials collection launches September 29 at Converse stores, select retailers and converse.com.
