Nas Gets Immortalized With Giant Mural in Queensbridge

A giant mural of Nas has just appeared in Queens, New York on the corner of 21st Street and 40th Avenue, just adjacent to the Queensbridge Houses where the Illmatic rapper was raised. The painting, created by artists Eli Eos, Lawrence “Myse” Hosannah Hannah, Jorit Agoch and FCee showcases a portrait of the rap legend accentuated with the word “Queensmatic” – a nod to his home borough and seminal hip-hop classic, Illmatic. The mural arrives just a day after dropping his Robin Thicke-assisted single where he calls Donald Trump a “Toupee-Wearing Liar.” Several Instagram shots of the mural can be viewed below.Nas
