Today marks the anniversary of a special moment in Jordan Brand lore: on this date in 1984, Michael Jordan debuted the “Banned” colorway of the Air Jordan 1. In honor of the milestone, select Foot Locker locations are dropping “Banned” colorways of the Air Jordan 1 and XXXI, along with the “Black Toe” Air Jordan 1, and Jordan Brand has set up a special one-day pop-up on Wooster Street in NYC. Customers will find both the iconic red and black Air Jordan 1, along with a version of the shoe built with a satin upper (pictured below, and limited to just 501 pairs). On the apparel side, there’s the OG “Bred” flight suit, satin “Wings” jacket and “Wings” tee. If you can’t make it out today, scroll through the images in the gallery below (courtesy of our sister site Sneaker News) to see what you’re missing.
