In 1990, an 18 yr old emcee from the notorious Queensbridge housing projects shocked the hip hop world when he blatantly dared to “Arrest The President“.
Fast forward almost 27 years later, the sentiment remains the same as an emcee/dj/producer pair out of Columbia, SC joins forces with the originator to recreate the aforementioned nostalgic classic titled “A.T.F.P.” (Arrest The Future President).
The group named Raw Wattage links up with Tragedy Khadafi, formerly known as the Intelligent Hoodlum, to bring a hard hitting, dark, gritty backdrop to cover current events regarding the 2016 presidential election amongst other issues plaguing Black America. “A.T.F.P.” will be featured on Raw Wattage’s upcoming project N.E.W.S.(Not Everyday Words for Society), executive produced by the legendary Large Professor and A&R’d by Distrolord Digital, to be released on all digital platforms Black Friday (Nov 25th).
