Today finds adidas Originals launching a new short film, “Original Is Never Finished,” set to a remixed version of Frank Sinatra’s iconic song “My Way” and featuring visionaries from the worlds of music, skate, sport, style and art. The images, meanwhile, depict a reimagined approach to contemporary streetwear culture, with a multi-generational cast that includes Snoop Dogg, Dev Hynes, Stormzy, Mabel, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Brandon Ingram, Petra Collins, Gonz and Lucas Puig. The film explores the idea that if you push something far enough, it becomes original again. It’s a philosophy that runs through the design language of the brand, ultimately delivering meaning for a new generation of creators. Enjoy the film below.
