The highly-coveted VLONE Air Force 1 will be available again at a NikeLab pop-up in Harlem for New York Fashion Week. The uptown location represents a homecoming for both VLONE and the Air Force 1. “Honestly, this pop-up is about bringing back that essence of where we came from,” commented A$AP Bari. “We was born with the Harlem swag, we was raised with the Harlem swag, and we had the opportunity to spread that around the world.” As for the famous black and orange version of the classic AF1, Bari commented that “it’s the new signature New York shoe, but coming from a Harlem kid.” The VLONE x NikeLab pop-up features a thematic black and orange basketball court, a space illustrating the history of Harlem, as well as a large collection of rare and hand-painted AF1s for sale. The VLONE Air Force 1 Low will retail for $250 USD, alongside a long sleeve T-shirt, basketball, headbands and pins.
