2017 is the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 1, and Nike is celebrating the milestone in a big way for the brand’s unofficial holiday, Air Max Day. In addition to OG “Anniversary” colorways in Sport Red and Sport Blue, Nike is also releasing the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra 2.0 in the OG-inspired Sport Red color palette, complete with special “3.26” tongue patches in honor of Air Max Day. That same color scheme — and “3.26” tongue — reappear on this grade school AM1, which is set to launch next week, March 16, for a future generation of Air Max fanatics.
