This week Amazon introduces a new way to pay for purchases online, with Amazon Cash. Customers can simply add cash to their Amazon.com balance by showing a barcode at participating retailers, then having the cash applied immediately to their online Amazon account. Ultimately, you can apply any amount between $15 USD and $500 USD in a single transaction.

Users can look forward to Amazon Cash being accepted at brick and mortar retailers throughout the United States, including CVS Pharmacy, Speedway, Sheetz, Kum & Go, D&W Fresh Market, Family Fare Supermarkets and VG’s Grocery. Additional shops will continue to be added going forward.

Amazon Cash is designed to appeal to those who get paid in cash, don’t have a bank account or debit card, and don’t use credit cards.
