THE 2017 GMC SIERRA ALL TERRAIN X

For 2017, GMC’s Sierra 1500 All Terrain X combines a premium package featuring a monochromatic exterior trim and special equipment, along with the company’s latest technologies. Among the exterior upgrades are high-performance LED lighting, a unique body-color grille surround with an All Terrain insert, black belt moldings, front bumper skidplate and B-pillars, body-color door handles and bodyside moldings, and 18-inch black-painted aluminum wheels, wrapped in Goodyear Duratrac MT-rated tires.

The All Terrain equipment includes a spray-on bedliner, Z71 off-road suspension package with monotube Rancho shocks, protective underbody shielding, off-road Inclinometer and Hill Descent Control, and Eaton automatic locking rear differential. There are also black power-adjustable heated and power-folding trailering mirrors with integrated turn signals, LED rear guidance lamps and LED amber clearance lamps

Inside, there are heated bucket seas, leather-accented upholstery and a standard Bose sound system. A Rear Vision Camera system offers a clear view of objects or vehicles through a high-definition Color Touch Radio screen, which is controlled by intuitive voice commands and features Bluetooth connectivity. There’s also wireless charging and an available 4G Wi-Fi hotspot.

Under the hood is a powerful 5.3-liter V-8 engine, bolstered by a new stainless steel performance exhaust system that generates 33 percent less backpressure than the stock exhaust, resulting in a 10-horsepower gain for peak power ratings of 365 hp at 5600 rpm and 383 lb-ft of torque at 4100 rpm.
